FAQ

  • I care deeply about the experience of a wedding day and about building real connection with my couples and the vendors around them.

My approach is rooted in photojournalism, with a perspective that is equal parts art director and fly on the wall. I’m there to gently guide when needed, then step back and let the day unfold, always attentive to the beauty in both the big moments and the in-between ones. Working across digital and film, I document wedding days with honesty, softness, and intention.

My goal is for my couples to feel fully present with one another and the people they love, while I preserve the day in a way that feels timeless, emotive, and true.

  • Yes! While I’m based out of Toronto, I love discovering new spaces - the colours, textures, languages - and incorporating their natural beauty into the narrative of the day.

While I primarily cover events in Canada and the U.S., I have a deep love to Europe and have my passport at the ready!

  • Nope! Portraiture has my heart and I love taking on personal branding sessions, creative portraiture commissions, and commercial projects! I’d love to learn more about you + your brand! Drop me a line here to chat further!

  • I’m naturally intuitive. Equal parts people person, observer, and empath, I’m always reading the room and taking my cues from my couples and their guests throughout the day.

Most of my couples want a little guidance when it comes to portraits, which I’m always happy to offer! Outside of that, I tend to be pretty unobtrusive. I’m there to stay attuned, move with the energy of the day, and catch the moments that happen in between.

And yes, I am very much a hype woman. I’ve stopped fighting it!!

  • Laid-back lovers with a deep love for fashion and design. Who love deeply and openly, care for their people, and have a soft spot for grandparents, babies, and dogs, my favourite guests!

  • I grew up peeking into the darkroom in our basement, and I’ve been drawn to film ever since — to the patience it requires, the curiosity, the intention behind every frame.

Film feels nostalgic in the best way. It asks for stillness and presence, and because of that, the experience of making photographs this way feels especially special. It’s textured, imperfect, and a little unpredictable — which is part of what makes it so beautiful.

  • My grandparents were together for over sixty years and are still the greatest, strongest team I’ve ever known. Their love showed me how deeply friendship shapes a relationship, and it’s something I return to often and can recognize almost instantly in others.

I’m also continually inspired by films shot on 16mm, Scandinavian design, neo-soul, typography, and every woman in my life.
